This was the first day of actual classroom setting. Yesterday was the technical first day, but it was at 7:30am and it was a schoolwide orientation that really had little to do with my campus; my school has 3 campuses. And we mainly did orientation type stuff today that did specifically pertain to our campus. We went over the syllabus, received the handbook, had uniform check, did introductions of ourselves, and got a brief overview of this spring semester.
I didn't iron my patches onto my uniform, because I was confused. I just placed them with a safety pin. I get to class and realize that the group as a whole did not know where to place then properly, they were all in the same general area, but nothing specific; so I'll have mine placed where the teachers said one day soon.
Our Fundamentals textbooks apparently had a bunch of errors so the bookstores aren't selling them until they get a revised batch; but I already had the book, as did most others. We did get new CDs for the book though.
I have a crapload of papers and will need some kind of storage system to figure it all out. I cant punch holes in EVERYTHING. And we have a checklist, i forget the specific name, that we're to keep all 2 years. I will be making a copy of mine every time I get a new skill signed off on, just because I know I will lose the darn thing.
